Shed fire at Pimba - 8 June 2025

Four trucks carrying approximately 16 firefighters attended a shed fire at 2:10 am on Olympic Dam Highway at Pimba in the state’s Far North.

The property owner discovered the fire after hearing a loud bang, while there were also multiple phone calls to Triple Zero from people at a nearby roadhouse.

Upon arrival CFS volunteers found the large shed to be fully engulfed in flames, with industry firefighters from Woomera already on scene.

The shed was destroyed by the fire, with damage estimated to exceed $100,000.

SA Police and SA Ambulance Service attended to support CFS firefighters.

Fire Cause has been contacted and firefighters remain on site to tidy up and monitor the scene.Shed fire at Pimba - 8 June 2025
